Dear Martha Reid Community,

 

Here at Martha Reid we are incredibly grateful for the support our school receives from our community and the many who value the educational experiences that we provide for our students. This school year we received a grant from the MISD Education Foundation in the amount of $5,000 to help build a traverse climbing wall in our gym. Thanks to the generosity of the BKV Corporation and Newsom family for their gift to the Education Foundation, this type of grant is made possible.

 

The resource of a climbing wall is not just a one-time project; it's a long-term resource for every Martha Reid student to learn and grow from. Now, we need your support to make this dream a reality!

 

The $5,000 grant has provided a great start towards funding our climbing wall. Would you be willing to donate or reach out to friends, family, and local businesses to help fund the remainder of this project? No donation is too small. Everyone that contributes to our climbing wall will be acknowledged on a plaque that will be placed next to the wall and will also have a designated time to come view the wall once it is installed. Additionally, any businesses that donate will receive recognition within our community.
