How does eWallet work?

Families start from your school’s Book Fair homepage—to set up an eWallet for each child. If their child already has an eWallet from a previous Fair, they can simply sign in to their  Scholastic account to view their balance and manage funds.

Funds are available immediately. Families can add funds, create an eWallet for another child, invite friends and family to contribute, and more—all from their account.

 

After the Fair ends and all registers are closed out, any unspent eWallet funds stay in the family’s Scholastic account, so their child can use the same eWallet at future Fairs to:

 

Transfer an eWallet balance between children

 

Shop online with Scholastic, including Book Clubs

Contribute any portion to Share the Fair™

 

Account holders will also receive an email reminder with their remaining balance after the Fair.

What's Happening

• Food available for purchase, including The Taco Guy and Travelin' Toms Coffee Truck

• Teacher treat stations

• Inflatable bounce houses for younger and older students

• K-Tiger martial arts demonstrations

• Boo Bash games (Cake Walk, Lucky Duck, Pick-a-pop, etc.)

• Book Fair

• Concessions & glow items available for purchase

• Local business vendor booths with games & prizes



Each student admission includes a glow stick, trick-or-treat bag, and 8 game tickets.



Admission

• $5 per student in advance

• $10 per student at the door, CASH ONLY

• OR $5 per student at the door with 2 canned goods



Adults do not need a ticket. Advance ticket sales close Wednesday, October 21 at 4:00 PM. All ticket sales are final. No refunds.



Purchases made at Boo Bash will be CASH ONLY, including admission purchased at the door and PTA items available for sale. Food vendors and other participating vendors may have their own payment options.

Donuts with Dads

Donuts with Dads - October 2nd We are inviting all dads and father figures to have donuts with your student on October 2nd from 7:00-8:00 AM in the cafeteria.   If you have RSVP'd and received your fast pass before the event, you may enter the event directly through the cafeteria doors. The pre-printed badges will be sent home with your student before the event.   If you do not have a fast pass, you will need to enter through the front office to check in and have one printed. You must bring a valid government issued ID with you!   The parent/guardian listed in Skyward must complete this form.     This event is for MRLA students and their father or father figures. School aged children who do not attend MRLA will not be allowed to participate in the event.     PLEASE NOTE: **This event is intended for fathers or other father figures. An event for moms and mother figures will be held in the spring.**

Grandparents Day 9/10 and 9/11

Calling all Grandparents or Grandparent Figures who have a grandchild at Martha Reid. 
We are celebrating Grandparents Day during our lunches.
Grandparents Day is 
9/10 (Thursday) for student whose last name starts with A-L and 
9/11 (Friday) for student whose last name start with M-Z.

Your students will be participating in the Adventure Dash Fun Run and will hear about all the future events taking place on September 17th.  The flyers going home give instructions on how they can earn their bands to participate in different activities of the Adventure Dash.

Please help your students achieve their goal.  It is greatly appreciated and will truly help with the success of the school’s fundraiser!
